“I adopted my Doberman, Charlie, from the Lowell Humane Society. I was told that at 9 months old, he had “no manners”. They were right! Charlie was not only a pup, but also a pup that had had little interaction with the world.

A family emergency came up. Auntie Dog was highly recommended to me. I needed to board Charlie. It was important to me that he knew that he wasn’t being abandoned again. He needed a “handler” – someone that understood his history and had the knowledge to handle him during this important phase of his development. Auntie Dog more than fit the bill, a home environment, not much of a change from his home was the biggest plus. Charlie was treated like a prince, but with a knowledgeable trainer– a win win for us. The stress level dropped, I was able to deal with our situation and return to Charlie, who had not suffered any anxiety at all.”
