Training Camp

Campers work and train with our entire staff while enrolled in Training Camp. Camp sessions average 4 weeks. Your dog will become part of the Auntie Dog family and participate all Studio activities, events and classes, in addition to daily private sessions.

Campers travel with our trainers to off-site locations for distraction training. Locations include malls, public parks, retail stores, sporting venues, fields, hiking trails and libraries.  Campers train in the community around real-life distractions and challenges. Campers that live in cities are taken to train stations and other urban locations to continue their education.

Campers participate in “recess”  after lessons.  Socially challenged Campers enjoy social and play time daily with staff members. Campers are housed in our dormitory room during their Camp stay.

A summary report is emailed to you 48 hours before your dog completes Camp. Reports detail your dog’s Camp experience. We explain exactly how your dog was trained and how you will continue his maintenance training at home.

You are reunited with your dog in a 90-minute lesson. Senior trainers work with two adult handlers to answer all questions and to provide a hands-on lesson so that the dog’s transition back to your family is seamless.

Camp tuition includes our premium leash and collar package and a punch card for 15 follow up lessons. Handlers may schedule private 30-minute follow up lessons and/or attend our drop-in Graduate Group class.

Is your puppy testing your patience? Does your work and family schedule not leave adequate time for puppy training? Camp is open to pups beginning at 5 months old.
