Comfort Dog Training for Municipalities, Businesses & Schools

SRO Casino with Officer Pancake
Auntie Dog is a recognized leader in Comfort Dog Training. We offer a customized program for law enforcement, health facilities and private businesses. Comfort Dog candidates begin their program at 12 weeks old with our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. Pups attend the six-week class with their handlers. Pups and handlers are introduced to house manners, socialization techniques and puppy obedience. The class concludes with the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test.
Comfort Dogs enter our Camp program at age 6 to 7 months. Camp is a 4-week residence program. The pups live with us for a month and are involved in all lessons and events at the Studio. They work and train in the community to build reliability in a variety of settings and distracted environments. Camp Comfort Dogs accompany current Comfort Dogs for on-the-job training at their various schools and public facilities with an Auntie Dog Senior Trainer. Upon completion of the program, we provide a detailed report to the handler. The handler is reunited in a 90-minute homecoming lesson at the end of Camp. Camp tuition includes 15 follow up lessons.

Officer Waffles, Tewksbury PD the Comfort Dog OG
We pride ourselves on staying involved with all of our students, especially our Comfort Dogs. We remain available for any future training needs for the life of the dog. When invited, our trainers enjoy joining the Comfort Dogs with their own TDI Therapy Dogs at community events and fundraisers.
